6. Another unrealistic requirement is the desire for dogs to patiently accept things that people would not put up with: aggression, increased tone of voice, being left in a cage for long periods of time.
7. Expecting a dog to socialize on its own is also a deep misconception. Pets need to be given a lot of time.
