Opel showed a concept of an electric car with a folding steering wheel

German automobile concern Opel has presented a concept of an electric car with a talking name Experimental. The novelty of the company is based on the battery platform BEV of Stellantis concern and in essence it is a C-class cross-coupe, which in case of going into production can become a full-fledged competitor for Tesla Model Y.

According to the statement of Opel representatives, this concept is a representation of models, design and technological innovations of the future. The exterior of the electric car completely lacks chrome, and it has unusual taillights with a vertical luminous stripe that cuts the stern into two halves.

The company logo is illuminated and the glass roof has smooth transitions to the rear and front windows. In addition, the tires for the electric car were specially created by Opel in cooperation with Goodyear from recycled rubber.
